COMPANY HISTORY

When Adams Plastics was founded in Chicago in 1967,the company started servicing the Loose-leaf binder and Specialty Advertising Industries. These customers requested that Adams Plastics purchase their PVC Film skeletons and cut offs and recycle them into saleable products. From that humble beginning, our recycling business was born.

With the arrival of new ownership in 1995, Adams Plastics increased the range of its PVC Film product lines as well as expanded the focus of the Recycling Group to include all types of plastics.

In our PVC Film business today, we have a domestic and international base of product supply and have expanded into a diverse line of products including medical grade vinyl, imitation leathers, advertising specialties and a host of other products. From our Chicago warehouse, we can create the product you need on the time schedule you want.

Our PVC Division has gained an excellent reputation for services such as slitting, sheeting, laminating, inter-leafing, printing and converting.

The company’s Recycling focus is to prevent as much post-consumer and post-industrial plastic from being placed in landfill as possible and to convert it into reusable plastic.

As a result, we purchase all types of plastic including PVC, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, ABS, Nylon, ABS and PC. Our processes include baling, sorting, washing, grinding, densifying and pelletizing.

In addition to our Chicago base, we also have Regional Sales Representatives strategically placed to serve you through offices throughout the Midwest.
